We recommend using Rug Settlers to secure a plastic sheet over an automobile carpet, effectively protecting it against rainwater, mud, and dust.
The Rug Settler features a user-friendly design, with rounded margins and a clear top surface that makes it virtually invisible when in place. If the rug is too thick or the acrylic base poses a challenge, users can employ a nose plier to hold the needle portion and press it firmly, or gently heat the tip to pierce through the material.
It is important to note that this product should not be used in areas where there is a risk of children pulling it out and potentially getting injured, or where elderly individuals may get caught on their feet or hit it, leading to falls. While the product's thickness of 2.5mm (one-tenth of an inch) is minimal, safety considerations should be a priority.
If customers are unsatisfied with the Rug Settler, they can request a full refund. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend that the combined thickness of the overlay and underlay does not exceed one inch, as the Rug Settlers work best within this range. If the thickness of the overlay rug exceeds one inch, we suggest exploring our other product offerings.
Each pack of Rug Settlers contains six units, designed to secure rugs over carpets or mats. These pins run from the top rug to the underlying carpet, keeping both layers firmly in place. The contoured top portion provides a comfortable grip for users when pushing the Rug Settlers into position.
